We plan field trips for every month, have game nights, movie nights, throw parties, road trip out of town, and have all kinds of fun, for sure. But, we are also serious about: 1) improving the library, 2) serving the community, 3) building skills and shaping futures; and we are structured with high expectations and high accountability.

We wrote our own ByLaws (7 pages!), have a Mission & Vision Statement, Officers–President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Affairs Officer, and a signed agreement for Standards of Behavior on file for every Teen.

TAB is the Teen representative body for the Library, TRUE. We decide which Books, CDs, DVDs, and Electronic materials should go on the shelves; design the Teen Library space, and promote reading. However, our scope extends beyond the Library, to the total development of the individual, and to serving the community at large.WP_20150228_043

Our Teens go to 6 different schools, come from varying family backgrounds, and are diverse in personality / interests, and are welcoming to everyone. So, come by on a Saturday and meet us!WP_20150228_010

Mission Statement:

Improve life for Teens in Camp Verde through the Library, by offering an inspiring, second-home environment that builds leaders and empowers them to go beyond expectation. We want the world to know that the Library is a vibrant, valuable, ever-evolving place that can positively impact the local Community and beyond, through Teens.
